I’m waiting for DHL courier now to collect my parcel, so I thought I’d share some stories with you guys. Last week we flew to Berlin, it was intense, but really good. We started off with 48h without sleep, but full of yummy food. We basically went to every coffee place in Berlin (and there’s a lot). Well, we needed that caffeine, I’m afraid. I’m sure you’ve heard of The Barn, since they are really famous even here in London, but my favourite was Five Elephants. Absolutely beautiful handcrafted coffee and pastry and teas. Amazing interior. Just wow.
Moving on, we have been in Berlin for 3 days, stayed in Mitte, which I absolutely loved. It was a ‘no-pressure’, good times, some sightseeing trip for my sister’s birthday. Because of our tight schedule, we mostly needed fuel to get us through the day, so we ended up eating lots, drinking coffee and getting cocktails in quirky bars of Berlin. Fun.
The weather was great, people were great, food was amazing, coffee even better. I’m broke now.
Hehe.
Anyways, I hope my sister loved is as much as I did.
plus I hope to go back some time soon. Ryanair is cheaper than a weekly Oyster card, so I might as well.
